Swim Smooth Clinic in the South West of England for all swim abilities

The Swim Smooth Clinic includes a mix of pool and “classroom” time. Each swimmer is filmed from above and below the water in full HD.

The classroom session includes a presentation on what makes efficient and effective swim stroke, an analysis of each swimmers stroke, the Swim Smooth Swim Types and how to adapt your stroke for open water swimming.

Each Clinic is limited to a small group to ensure each receives optimum benefit and each swimmer will receive a DVD containing the HD video of their stroke, the full analysis and a guide for follow-up sessions based on their Swim Type.

Who: Anyone, of any ability, wishing to improve their freestyle swim stroke. The Clinics are not physically demanding and are limited to 4 swimmers to allow each participant to enjoy maximum attention.

What: The latest HD video and analysis software to film and analyse each swimmers stroke, both above and below the water, with classroom presentation and discussion. The general structure of the day will be: pool (filming); classroom (theory, analysis, Swim Types, open water adaptation and discussion); and pool (correction and practice).

Why: Attending the Clinic will provide each swimmer with the information necessary to improve their swim stroke by identifying and learning the specific techniques that are necessary to develop.

You will need to bring:

• Swim kit – swim suit, goggles, fins, pull buoy
• Loose comfortable clothing for classroom sessions
• A light packed lunch

Note: You will be required to complete a Medical Waiver Form before commencement of the clinic.
